Why Disposing of Gas Canisters Requires Specialist Handling
Gas bottles and canisters are pressurised and often hold flammable gas. If they are crushed, punctured or heated in a bin, skip or waste vehicle, they can leak, catch fire or explode. That is why they must never go in general waste.
